Mathomatic is a free, portable, general-purpose Computer Algebra System (CAS)
that can automatically solve, differentiate, simplify, combine, and compare
algebraic equations, perform standard, complex number, and polynomial
arithmetic, etc. It does some calculus and is very easy to learn and use.

This is the Windows 32-bit build of Mathomatic. To install this program you
should extract it to a new folder called "winam2". Next, open the new folder
and double click "mathomatic.exe" to run Mathomatic. To create a desktop
shortcut; right click on "mathomatic.exe" then click "create shortcut", and
finally move the new shortcut to your desktop.

If you are wondering what to try first in Mathomatic, type "help examples" at
the Mathomatic prompt.

This build is made with MinGW and is a completely native Windows program. It
is stand-alone, you only require "mathomatic.exe". Works under CygWin, too.
Run "test.bat" to see if Mathomatic is working 100% on your Windows system.
If no differences are reported, all tests gave the expected output and
Mathomatic is working properly.

The "doc" directory contains the HTML documentation for Mathomatic.
The "primes" directory contains some of the Mathomatic Prime Number Tools.
The "tests" directory contains many educational scripts for Mathomatic.
The "m4" directory contains m4 Mathomatic, which only works with CygWin.

Plotting and m4 are the only things that don't currently work in this Windows
version, because those programs don't come with Windows; They do, however,
come with CygWin. Or you can download gnuplot here and install it:
